The Economic Ministry states the finalized areas where businesses can operate on a 24-hour basis in Fuvahmulah City and that they will soon be issuing permits.
According to the Economic Ministry, these permits are limited to three areas including businesses located on Ghaazee road in the middle of the city, Mohamed Jamaaluddine road in the south and Gen Miskiy road in the North.
Furthermore, the permit will be given to businesses that sell necessary items and those businesses who have met the requirements in the applications. While businesses will be able to operate for 24-hours, they are not allowed to be opened during prayer times.
Applications for the permits can be submitted to the Fuvahmulah City council
