Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid meets the Vice President of China, His Excellency Wang Qishan.
During the meeting held at Ziguang Pavilion, the two discussed bilateral relations between the two countries. Minister Shahid also congratulated Vice President Wang on the 70th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China and re-ensured the Maldivian government’s support to the One-China Policy.
The Vice President had noted the importance of Maldives as a partner in the Belt and Road initiative of China during their meeting.
