First Lady launches Mammography Services at Hulhumalé Hospital

First Lady Fazna Ahmed launched Mammography services at Hulhumale’ Hospital.

The service was launched on Monday during a special function to celebrate the second anniversary of the specialized Oncology Department at the hospital.

During the ceremony, the first lady toured the Radiology Department and Oncology Department followed by a speech of a patient about their experience of the treatment provided by the Oncology Department.

The Introduction of Mammography services will greatly expand the quality and speed of cancer screening and treatment at Hulhumale’ Hospital.

As October is celebrated as the month of awareness for breast cancer all around the globe, Hulhumale’ hospital has also planned several events and awareness programs to be held across the country.
