Recently vacated seat for the post of the head of the coach of TC Sports club just got filled by Mohamed Shazly (Shaz). Shaz is the first Maldivian to obtain the FIFA Pro license as a coach.
The post of the head coach got vacated quite recently when the former head coach Mohamed Athif (Aathy) resigned from his post. The winners of this year’s Charity shield are facing a lot of financial instability and this has lead to the recent vacation of their former head coach.
Shazly is a well trained experienced coach whereby he has coached to other first division clubs such as BG Sports Club and Victory Sports club. His name started to shine after coaching to the young Under 19 Maldivian Football team and winning a bronze medal.
The main aim of the appointed new coach is to obtain remarkable achievements in the upcoming AFC Cup while drawn against the Indian “I League” champions, Chennai City.
